this is my thank you poem (of sorts)
i love how we all laugh
at a-b-s-o-l-u-t-e-l-y nothing.
it is our randomness
that makes me smile
while i procrastinate writing
a paper on poetry.
always.
frost. pound. williams.
this is just to say
i have not eaten
the plums
in the icebox
because that would be
cruel.
stanzas, words, punctuation
blends into our laugh lines
as i attach my heart on
my red bow
wearing it proudly
as one would wear
Darcy breeches.
